Sienna Wood’s Explorer Park is a multi-use play space suitable for all ages, interests and abilities.
This project was a collaboration between the land developer, the landscape architects and various playground and recreation equipment companies, to make the vision of the developer come to life. This vision was to create a destination park, with activies and facilities for everyone. The main feature was to be a 'Tree of Life'
"The main feature of the playground is the ‘Tree of Life’, which is an 8m high climbing structure with tunnel slides. The climb to the first slide is just stairs, making it easy for little explorers to navigate"
Working with the architects, we created custom elements on the Tree of Life itself, as well as a variety of other equipment across the park. There are a set of swings and a Spider Web net climber inter woven in the trees roots, a large rope bridge connecting the different areas of the playground, all abilities equipment in the Dizzy Swing and the Becky Whirl allowing everyone to play together
